Baku representatives met with Karabakh Armenians in Khojaly
Baku/01.03.23/Turan: On March 1, representatives of Baku met with representatives of Armenians of Karabakh in the city of Khojaly in Karabakh, where the headquarters of the Russian peacekeepers is located.
According to official sources, the issues of reintegration of the Armenian residents of the Karabakh region into Azerbaijan were discussed.
Note that the deputy of the Milli Majlis Ramin Mammadov has been appointed by the Azerbaijani authorities responsible for contacts with the Armenian residents of the Karabakh region.
The meeting was also attended by the representative of the Ministry of Ecology Masim Mammadov, as well as representatives of State Property Service and "AzerGold" CJSC. These are the very persons who were not previously allowed by the Armenians to monitor the gold mines in Karabakh.
The Armenian side's message says that humanitarian and infrastructural issues were discussed at the meeting, including the restoration of uninterrupted movement of people, vehicles and cargo along the Lachin corridor, the restoration of electricity and gas supply to Karabakh from Armenia, as well as the operation of the Kashen mine (Gyzylbulag).
"There were no other issues on the agenda. The meeting was, apparently, constructive, and we hope that the results will not take long to wait," said the representative of the separatist leader Luchine Avanesyan. -02D-
