Berlin is negotiating with Baku the return of German funds to Azerbaijan - Ambassador of Germany
Baku / 23.04.19 / Turan: Germany is conducting discussions with official Baku on the restoration of German political funds in Azerbaijan and hopes for positive results, the German ambassador to Azerbaijan, Michael Kindsqrab, stated this at a press conference today.
Asking the question from Turan whether the return of Friedrich Ebert and Friedrich Naumann"s funds to Azerbaijan is discussed (they stopped their work several years ago due to restrictions imposed by the authorities of Azerbaijan), the ambassador answered affirmatively.
"Of course, we would like the activity of German political foundations to be restored. We are negotiating this and really want and hope that positive results will be achieved," the ambassador concluded. -06D-
