Blinken's Son Appears To Dress Up As Zelensky For White House Halloween Party: VIDEO
U.S. President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden Monday night hosted an annual Halloween eve trick-or-treating that welcomed local public school students and military-connected children to the White House. Children of administration officials joined the group as well.
U.S. Secretary of State Blinken’s son appeared to dress up as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelesnkyy and his daughter wore Ukrainian flag colors.
The White House was decorated with autumnal foliage, stacks of books, and multi-dimensional displays of ghoulish literary characters and tales, TURAN's Washington correspondent reports from the event.
A spooky story time corner was also a part of the Halloween festivities this year, featuring Education Secretary Miguel Cardona, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, and other special guests.
Jill Biden came out to the reading nook dressed as Willow the cat. Her theme, “Hallo-READ!,” highlighted famous literary tales and characters, ghost stories, and the spooktacular thrill of reading.
According to White House officials, approximately 8,000 guests participated in this year’s Halloween event, with each family receiving chocolate and candy treats provided by the National Confectioners Association and its member companies.
