Border between Azerbaijan and Georgia Temporarily Closed from March 14
Baku / 13.03.20 / Turan: In order to ensure safety and protect the health of citizens of Azerbaijan and Georgia from the Corona Virus epidemic, by mutual agreement of the heads of government of the two countries, a decision was made to temporarily close the state border for all modes of transport from 00:00 on March 14, 2020 with a deadline of 10 days.
This was reported by the operational headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
At the same time, during the indicated period, the necessary corridor will be provided for the mutual return of citizens of Azerbaijan and Georgia to their countries. There will also be a transit corridor for freight.
It should be noted that Georgia simultaneously closed the border with Armenia for the same period. -06D-
