CEC Registered Nomination for Another Four Presidential Candidates
Today CEC registered nomination for another 4 candidates for President in the presidential elections on October 9.
They are the notorious leader of the pro-government party Modern Musavat Hafiz Hajiyev, the self-promoted former Vice-chairman of Ana Vatan Party Zahid Orudzh (expelled from the party), the leader of the National Awakening Party Faradge Guliyev and the head of the East-West Research Center Arastun Orujlu.
Until now, the CEC has registered 10 candidates for the nomination. -16D-

European observers are creating "distrust" between Baku and Brussels, stated President Ilham Aliyev on Monday during the presentation of credentials by the new Belgian ambassador, Julien de Frepon. Aliyev emphasized that the "binocular diplomacy" of the European monitoring mission is unacceptable and contributes to distrust in Azerbaijan's relations with the European Union. He questioned the necessity of extending the mission and increasing its numbers without consulting Baku.
