Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces of Russian Federation and Commander-in-chief of NATO Forces in Europe to Meet in Baku
Baku / 07/10/19 / Turan: The Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Deputy Defense Minister Valery Gerasimov arrived on a working visit to Baku on July 10, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
In the capital of Azerbaijan, he will meet with Todd Walters, Commander-in-chief of the allied armed forces of NATO in Europe.
Negotiations are also scheduled between the head of the General Staff of the Russian Federation and the military-political leadership of Azerbaijan.
In May, General of the United States Air Force Todd Walters was appointed Supreme Commander of the combined NATO forces in Europe, replacing Curtis Scaparrotti in this post. -02D-
