Yerevan / 15.02.13/Turan-ArmInfo: The Chief of General Staff of the Russian Armed Force, Valery Gerasimov, arrived in Yerevan on Feb. 14. As the press service of the Defense Ministry of Armenia said, during the visit they will focus on further strengthening and development of strategic cooperation between Russia and Armenia. The visit includes meetings of Gerasimov with his Armenian counterpart Yuri Khachaturov, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and President Serzh Sargsyan.
Recall that last month the Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu visited Armenia, and President Vladimir Putin said that there is a need to strengthen military cooperation between the two countries. -02D-
