Baku/05/06/14/Turan : Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov participated in a meeting of defense ministers of ISAF at the NATO headquarters in Brussels.
Participants of the event discussed assisting Afghanistan in security matters , especially after the withdrawal of the international coalition .
Speaking at the meeting , Zakir Hasanov said Azerbaijan will continue its assistance to Afghanistan in the form of finance and training of security structures and personnel.
During his visit to Brussels, Zakir Hasanov also held bilateral meetings with the defense ministers of Turkey, Georgia and Chuck Hagel the Pentagon chief . This is stated in the message of the Mission of Azerbaijan to NATO. -02D-

President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
