Draft agreements between the EU and Azerbaijan on visa and readmission are initialed
Draft agreements between the EU and Azerbaijan on visa facilitation and readmission have been initialed in Brussels.
Projects have been initialed by the head of Mission of Azerbaijan under the EU, Ambassador Fuad Iskanderov and CEO of the European Commission's internal politics, Stefano Manseryisi.
The signing of the initialed agreements is provided this November in Vilnius in the frameworks of the summit of heads of state of the program "Eastern Partnership", the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan.
The agreement on visa creates opportunities for Azerbaijanis to travel to Europe in a simplified manner. The possibility of simplified visa registration will be granted in particular for making trips for scientific exchange, education, medical treatment, for state and government visits, participation in sports, cultural and humanitarian activities. In addition to reducing the time for obtaining visas, another advantage will be a significant reduction in the number of documents required to apply for visas, mutual twofold cost of fees, and issuance of long-term multiple-entry visas. These benefits are advantageous for citizens visiting their families in Europe. –06В--
