Employees of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan insult journalists

A group of journalists covering the international donor conference on Palestine today were insulted by Parvin Mirzazade, the Chief of Protocol Service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

It happened during a coffee break in the lobby. Cameramen were installing the equipment for video interviews with the participants of the conference.

Mirzazada thought they were loud, and he told the security workers "remove them (journalists) in general" and added, "send them far away."

After the journalists were pushed out of the building. Despite the head of the press service of the Foreign Ministry, Elman Abdullayev, returned the  journalists back, Mirzazada again ordered to expel journalists.

Later dejected Abdullayev had to apologize for the indiscretion of his colleague. Thus,  before the reporters faced the rudeness of police officers,  and now  the employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs publicly humiliate  the journalists.—06B--
