Baku/26.04.23/Turan: On April 25, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan felt ill during a live TV broadcast, where he answered questions about the upcoming presidential elections on May 14; the broadcast was interrupted, the newspaper "Hürriyet" reports.
After a question from Hassan Ozturk, the editor-in-chief of "Ülke TV", the live broadcast was interrupted. Later, Erdogan returned and said that he had a severe stomach ache and apologized to the audience. According to him, he caught Norovirus (stomach flu).
Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay assured on his Twitter account that Erdogan's health is good.
Presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalyn added that "the president is in good health." --02D--
