Erdogan will offer Zelensky to hold meeting with Putin
Baku/18.08.22/Turan: Trilateral talks between the Presidents of Ukraine and Turkey, Vladimir Zelensky and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as well as UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres, will take place in Lviv today.
During his visit to Ukraine, Erdogan will offer his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky to organize a meeting with the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, reports UNIAN, citing Turkish sources.
"It is expected that Erdogan will offer Zelensky to organize his meeting with Putin," A Haber TV channel correspondent from Lviv reported, citing sources in diplomatic circles.
Another Turkish news channel CNN Turk noted that Zelensky and Putin may hold a meeting to define the "road map" on the issue of the war in Ukraine.
"According to the news we received from Russian sources, Russian President Vladimir Putin may meet with Vladimir Zelensky. The Russian side said that the leaders could discuss and define the "road map". Then the delegations can start working on the implementation of this roadmap," the message reads.
As UNIAN reported, on August 17, military expert Oleg Zhdanov said that Turkish President Recep Erdogan and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres at a meeting with Vladimir Zelensky would promote the end of the war with the Russian Federation through diplomatic means, but this is the Russian plan - to sit down at the negotiating table right now.-0—

"The visit of Polish President Andrzej Duda to the to Armenia-Azerbaijan border area in the company of members of the EU Mission in Armenia (EUMA), unfortunately, is another demonstration of anti-Azerbaijani policy of different EU member countries and European institutions. We deeply regret that President of the country which is officially a “strategic partner” of Azerbaijan has participated in the unacceptable diplomatic “binocular show” leading to the aggravation of relations between Azerbaijan and Poland,”" reads the statement on the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ account on X (formerly Twitter).
