Foreign Ministers of Iran and Azerbaijan Discussed the Situation on the Border
The foreign ministers of Iran and Azerbaijan, Javad Zarif and Elmar Mamedyarov, discussed in Tehran bilateral issues, including the current situation on the border between the two countries. As the press service of the Foreign Ministry said, the meeting was held within the framework of the Council of Ministers of Economic Cooperation.
The sides also discussed cooperation in energy, culture and education.
Recall that the Iranian side has closed the overland road for heavy trucks delivering fuel to Nakhchivan. Because of this, Nakhchivan is facing problems and disruptions in supplies. -03D-
