Former Defense Minister David Tonoyan detained in Armenia
Baku/29.09.21/Turan: Ex-Defense Minister David Tonoyan was detained in Armenia, local media reported. According to the Hraparak newspaper, Tonoyan will be arrested.
According to the same source, "next in line" is another ex-minister - Seyran Ohanyan, and ex-head of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Yuri Khachaturov.
Last Saturday, the National Security Service of Armenia announced the arrest of the former head of the Ministry of Defense on charges of fraud during the period when Tonoyan was minister. -02D-
