Baku / 30.05.19 / Turan: On the eve, First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva received the head of Rothschild Global Financial Advisory David Rothschild in Baku.
He was invited to Azerbaijan during Aliyeva"s visit to Paris in March of this year. At the same time, an agreement on strategic cooperation was signed between the Central Bank of Azerbaijan and the Rothschild Global Financial Advisory company.
During the meeting, David de Rothschild noted that he was pleased with the visit, recalling that the activities of the Rothschild family in Azerbaijan have historical roots.
During the conversation, an exchange of views on the prospects for cooperation took place, the official statement said. -06D--

On November 15, animal rights activist Kamran Mammadli was detained while staging a protest at the COP29 climate conference. Mammadli was protesting the shooting of street dogs in Azerbaijan. The United States has been working with Azerbaijan for a long time on energy issues and fossil fuel emissions, particularly focusing on technologies that reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions and help transition to clean energy, the U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer M.
