Hidayat Orujov appointed ambassador to Kyrgyzstan
By the Order of President Ilham Aliyev, 68-year-old Hidayat Orujov was appointed as Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Kyrgyzstan.
By another decree of the head of state, Orujov was given the title of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
Orujov in 1992-2006 served as state adviser on national policy.
From 2006 to June 2012 Orujov supervised the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations. -06D-

Independent journalist Khanum Mustafayeva was unable to leave Azerbaijan on January 11. At the Baku airport, she was told that the ban was imposed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan. However, the reasons for restricting the journalist's rights were not explained to her.
