Ilham Aliyev demanded from Iranian authorities to punish those involved in terror attack on Azerbaijani Embassy
Baku/27.01.23/Turan: Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev strongly condemned the armed attack on the Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran, qualifying it as a terrorist act. He demanded from the Iranian authorities to promptly investigate the crime and punish the terrorists.
"I strongly condemn the terrorist act committed today against our Embassy in Tehran.
I express my condolences to the family and friends of Senior Lieutenant Askerov Orkhan Rizvan oglu, who was killed while guarding the Embassy and its staff.
We demand the promptest possible investigation into this terrorist attack and punishment for the terrorists. Terrorist attacks on diplomatic missions are unacceptable," Aliyev wrote on Twitter. -06D-
