On August 4, 2022 members of the radical religious group "The Mahdi Servants Union" stormed the building of the Azerbaijani Embassy in London and carried out a pogrom.
On 16 September 2022, a violent group of Armenians attacked the Azerbaijani Embassy in the Lebanese capital of Beirut. The crowd tried to break into the back of the Embassy but was stopped by security forces.
On 18 September 2022 the Armenian radicals attacked the Azerbaijani Embassy in Paris. Their attempts to break into the rear were thwarted.
On the night of 10-11 October 2022, shots were fired at the official vehicle of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Washington. No one was injured.
On 30 January 2011, Nijat Gojayev, an official of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Egypt, was killed during a mass riot in Cairo.
On 30 August 2001, a car carrying two attachés of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran, Rza Ibrahimov and Jabrail Khanlarov, as well as "Azer Tac" state news agency's own correspondent Uzeyir Kerimov, fell off the bridge into the river on the Resht-Enzeli highway. All three passengers as well as the driver of the car, an Iranian citizen, were killed.-0-
