Ilham Aliyev invited Donald Tusk to Azerbaijan
On Thursday, the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk called the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. According to the press service of the President of Azerbaijan, Donald Tusk expressed condolences to the head of state and Azerbaijani people concerning the fire that occurred in a residential building in Baku.
They discussed the issues concerning the relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union. "It was noted with satisfaction that these relations are built on solid foundations, is now successfully developing in political, economic, energy, transport and other spheres," said the press service of the President.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the European Council, Donald Tusk also exchanged views on prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union.
