Ilham Aliyev is received by the US Commerce Secretary
On 30 March Ilham Aliyev was received by the US Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker in Washington. According to the official report, the meeting discussed the economic situation in Azerbaijan, the elimination and prevention of unemployment measures, reforms in tax and customs areas, as well as the possibility of cooperation in the agricultural sector. The sides exchanged views on expanding cooperation in the energy sector and the activities of American companies in Azerbaijan. The same day Aliyev met with a group of members of Congress, where he discussed cooperation between the two countries in political, economic, energy and defense sectors. -02D-
