Ilham Aliyev Meets in Berlin
During his visit to Germany on January 20, Ilham Aliyev met with the Foreign Minister of this country, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
According to the official report, the sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Germany, as well as the Karabakh conflict.
The same day, Aliyev met with Chairman of the Munich International Security Conference Wolfgang Ischinger Fredrik.
They discussed issues of regional security and other international issues.
Recall that on January 21 Aliyev will meet with Chancellor Angela Merkel.
As expected, the focus will be energy cooperation and the human rights issue in Azerbaijan.
Today Aliyev will leave for Switzerland to attend the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Aliyev will return to Munich next month, where the 51st annual Munich Security Conference will be held on February 6-8. The Forum, which has been held since 1962, will be attended by military and political leaders, political scientists, media representatives of NATO member states, countries of Eastern Europe, China, India, and Japan. -02D-

"We are deeply shocked by the news of the deaths and injuries resulting from the tragic incident that took place at the Christmas market in Magdeburg," the message reads.
