Ilham Aliyev received a delegation of the U.S. Congress
Today President Ilham Aliyev received the delegation of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the U.S. Congress, led by its chairman, Ed Royce.
As the press service of the President said, Royce appreciated the high level of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the United States.
The Congressmen praised the successful cooperation between the two countries in the fields of energy and counter-terrorism operations in Afghanistan.
Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations and noted that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to enhancing cooperation between the two countries' legislatures.
Referring to the Karabakh conflict, Aliyev said about the need to revitalize the OSCE Minsk Group and to take concrete steps towards a just settlement of the conflict based on the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. -06D-
