Ilham Aliyev receives a group of French senators
On Monday, President Ilham Aliyev received a group of French senators, led by co-chair of the Senate Energy Research Group, Ladislas Poniatovski. The delegation also includes Senators Dolphin Batai, Frassa Christophe André and Jean-Claude Lenior.
Reminding his recent visit to Paris, Aliyev said that his talks with the President Francois Hollande and other meetings during the visit, have once again confirmed that the Azerbaijani-French relations are strategic. Aliyev also noted the important role in the development of bilateral relations, parliamentary cooperation. Poniatovski expressed interest in expanding the existing ties between the two countries in all fields, particularly in the energy sector.—06D--
