Ilham Aliyev receives the PACE rapporteurs and envoy of London
On March 2 Ilham Aliyev received PACE Monitoring Committee co-rapporteurs Pedro Agramunt and Tadeusz Iwinski, as well as an envoy of British Prime Minister on trade with Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan Charles Hendry.
At a meeting with PACE co-rapporteur was noted the importance of effective cooperation with the Council of Europe and exchanged views on the current state and prospects of cooperation.
At a meeting with Charles Hendry was noted that the purpose of his visit - the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on economic and trade cooperation between Azerbaijan and Great Britain.
Ilham Aliyev, in turn, stressed the importance of cooperation not only in the energy sector, but also in economy, trade, investment and other spheres. Aliyev also said that Azerbaijan is interested in the activities of British companies in Azerbaijan. -3D04-
