Ilham Aliyev receives the Prime Minister of Malta
President Ilham Aliyev received Joseph Muscat, the Prime Minister of Malta. During the meeting the sides exchanged views on development of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, the situation in the region, the press service of the head of Azerbaijan.
During the previous visit of Prime Minister of Malta in December 2014, the parties signed two documents on strategic cooperation in the oil and gas sector.
Two identical memorandums on strategic cooperation in the oil and gas sector were signed between SOCAR and the Ministry of Energy between Malta, and the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan and Malta.
Apparently, the current visit of the Prime Minister of Malta aims to deepen and strengthen previous agreements and their practical implementation. -02D-
