Baku/13.10.21/Turan: A column of cars carrying goods for the construction of civil infrastructure in Kalbajar was fired on today by illegal Armenian formations near the village of Gozlukurpu (Getavan).
As a result of the shelling, the rear part, wheel and chassis of the “Niva” car of the Military Automobile Inspection of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were damaged. Luckily, no one was hurt, the press service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on October 13.
The military department notes that the convoy with civilian goods followed, accompanied by Russian peacekeepers.
An appeal was sent to the command of the Russian peacekeeping forces and the Joint Russian-Turkish Monitoring Center to investigate the incident. --06D-
