Interior Minister receives the Ambassador of the United States
Interior Minister Ramil Usubov received on March 13 the US Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Robert Sekyuta. Ramil Usubov informed the ambassador about the criminal situation, which is under control, the safety of foreign investors is provided.
The Minister stressed that under the direct control of the Interior Ministry’s leadership are issues such as rough ratio of police to citizens, unjustified bringing to police, arrest, prosecute. Employees who violate are subject to severe punishment. According to the minister, over the past 5 years 1514 police officers to disciplinary action was drawn in. Of these, 108 were dismissed from their posts, 95 were dismissed, the 8 officers were demoted, 11 were prosecuted. During the meeting they discussed issues of mutual interest, according to a press release from the Ministry of Interior. -04D-
