International Media Institute calls on to release imprisoned journalists
International Institute for Freedom of the Media, called on the Azerbaijani authorities to release the detained journalists, said the representative of the organization who is in Baku.
"We have appealed to the President Ilham Aliyev to put an end to attacks and arrests of journalists," said Alison Bethel McKenzie, Director of the Media Freedom International Institute in an interview with reporters.
According to her, on September 19 at a meeting with the President of Azerbaijan, it will raise the issue of media freedom in the country. According to her, there are three journalists under the arrest in arrest in Azerbaijan.
