The Public Alliance Azerbaijan Without Political Prisoners congratulated the 52nd anniversary of the arrested human rights defender Intigam Aliyev.
In their message the former political prisoners and prisoners of conscience say that are well aware of how painful unreasonable and unjust arrest is.
Calling Intigam Aliyev one of the consistent fighters for justice in Azerbaijan, the authors express their hope for his speedy release.
Recall that Intigam Aliyev is one of the country's prominent human rights defenders, who is repressed by the authorities on trumped-up reasons. He is one of the lawyers who actively defended the rights of citizens in the European Court of Human Rights. Thanks to him, the citizens have won more than 70 lawsuits against the government of Azerbaijan. -05D04-
