Iranian Defense Minister Visited Azerbaijan Republic
Iran’s defense minister arrived in Baku with the official invitation of his Azeri counterpart on Monday.
Mehr reported Brig. Gen. Hossein Dehqan will have meetings with the country’s high-ranking political and defense officials to discuss bilateral, regional, and international issues of interest, Defense Ministry’s Defense Promotions Office reported.
Dehqan’s visit will seek to enhance cooperation on defense and military with his Azeri counterpart General of the Army Zakir Hasanov.
The visit is a response to Hasanov’s visit to Tehran in April 2014. –02D--
