Iranian embassy distanced itself from Iranians who arrived in Karabakh
Baku/28.12.21/Turan: The Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan made a statement on the arrival of Iranians in Khankendi for mixed martial arts competitions.
The report says that mixed fighting (fighting without rules) is prohibited in Iran.
For this reason, there is no federation for this sport in Iran.
“Those who practice this kinds are acting secretly and illegally.
Those participating in the competitions in Khankendi on December 28 have nothing to do with the Iranian Ministry of Sports and they illegally participate in competitions around the world,” the statement said.
At the same time, the embassy does not explain what will be done in relation to persons who commit these illegal actions. -02В-
