Iranian Foreign Minister to visit Baku
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on February 16 will start an official two-day visit to Azerbaijan, Iranian media reported.
During the visit, Zarif will meet with the political leadership of the country. It is expected that he will be received by the President, Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan. They will discuss the prospects of bilateral cooperation and regional security.
Earlier, the Iranian side expressed its interest in participating in projects to transport its gas to Europe through the system of the Southern Gas Corridor. It is possible that these issues will also be on the agenda of the talks. -03D-
