Iran"s Supreme Leader Receives Sheikh Pashazadeh
During his visit to Iran, the head of the Caucasus Muslims Department Allahshukur Pashazadeh met with the country's Supreme Leader, Sayyid Ali Khamenei.
During the meeting they discussed issues of religious radicalism and extremism and confrontation with these phenomena.
Khamenei stressed that the crimes committed under the guise of religion have no relation to Islam. He called it a provocation against Islam.
During the visit, Pashazadeh also met with well-known religious figures of Iran, Makarim Shirazi and Jafar Subhani, discussing various issues.
The visit of the CMO to Iran ended on 25 November. Recall that Pashazadeh was in Iran to attend a conference on religious trends. -02D-
