J. Bayramov: Azerbaijan and Italy are strategic partners
Baku/03.04.21/Turan: There is a high level of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy, and the declaration of strategic partnership signed by the leaders of the two states is a vivid evidence of this, stated the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov receiving the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic to Baku Augusto Massari on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission today.
Massari, in turn, noted that the solidarity shown by the two countries fully corresponds to the high level of development of relations between Azerbaijan and Italy.
The parties stressed the prospects for expanding cooperation between the two states in all areas and noted the importance of mutual visits for this.
They also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
It should be noted that during the 44-day Karabakh war last fall, Italy supported Azerbaijan's efforts to restore the country's territorial integrity.
After the end of hostilities, Italian companies joined projects to rebuild infrastructure in the liberated territories. — 06D-
