Baku/01.03.22/Turan: On March 1, 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation with the Minister of State for European Affairs James Cleverley at the Office of Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and Development of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The sides exchanged views on regional issues, in particular the situation in Ukraine. The ministers discussed topical issues of the bilateral cooperation agenda, as well as other topics of mutual interest. —06D-

On February 13, the Appeal Court did not satisfy the defense's appeal against the decision of the Khatai Court regarding the arrest of journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi. According to the lawyer, the journalist herself did not participate in the trial due to poor health. The defense intends to submit a petition to replace the arrest with house arrest.
