Jeyhun Bayramov received the head of the OSCE/ODIHR observer mission
On Wednesday, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received the head of the Election Observation Mission of the OSCE Bureau of Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, Ditmir Bushati.
The parties discussed preparations for the early elections to the Milli Majlis on September 1 and international commitments in this direction.
The minister announced "systematic and intensive steps being taken for the free, fair and transparent conduct of the upcoming elections, as well as the participation of international observers in the elections," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
According to him, all conditions have been created for holding elections at a high level that meets international standards.
At the same time, he called on the OSCE/ODIHR mission to show objectivity and impartiality in the election observation process.
