Kazakhstan may impose sanctions against Russia
Baku/06.07.22/Turan: The Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan published a draft order banning the supply of goods to Russia and Belarus that fell under Western sanctions, Russian media reported on Wednesday. The final decision has not yet been made, although earlier officials, including the president of the country, said that they were forced to comply with Western sanctions.
The Kremlin believes that this will not happen. Presidential spokesman Peskov said that the governments of the two countries are in constant contact, the parties declare their intention to develop interaction, he said.
Meanwhile, Russia stopped the transportation of Kazakh oil via the CPC pipeline to Novorossiysk for a month. Environmental issues are cited as the reason. It exports 70% of Kazakhstan's oil to international markets. --02D--
