Kerry and Lavrov discuss Syria and Karabakh
On 2 July a telephone conversation between Minister of Foreign Affairs Lavrov and US Secretary of State Kerry at the US initiative. The ways to overcome the Syrian conflict, including the possibility of Russian-American cooperation in the fight against terrorist groups were discussed, press service of the Foreign Ministry; next steps of the OSCE Minsk Group on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to the development outcome of the meeting of the presidents of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan in St. Petersburg on June 20 were considered. The conversation took place on the eve of a trip Kerry’s trip to Tbilisi, and Lavrov’s trip to Yerevan. -02D-
