Khadija Ismail: They cannot hang everyone!
The well-known journalist and radio commentator of Azadlig, Khadija Ismail, made a statement in connection with the renewal of a blackmail campaign against her.
She recalled that the campaign was initiated by the authorities in 2011 after she investigated evidence of illegal business activities of the Aliyev and Pashayev families, their offshore business in Panama, etc.
"I was not silent then and will not be silent now. Dirty methods used by the authorities hit them the same, and since March 2012, all social groups came out in defense of freedom of speech against the immoral practices of corrupt authorities," she said, expressing gratitude to those who supported her.
The ruling family keeps trying to silence her, and the moral and physical terror continues. One example of this is a new video about her personal life, which appeared on the Internet in recent days. It is noteworthy that all of this was filmed with a hidden camera in the apartment where she lived back in 2011.
"It's my personal life and I am not ashamed of it. Like a year ago, I say: “Let the shame be on the one who steals people's property, who robs his own citizens and enriches his offspring with those funds," said the journalist.
"The ruling family keeps using moral terror against me and this real and physical terror continues. Except the Aliyevs, I have never been threatened by anybody. Ilham Aliyev personally called me an enemy and personally and unilaterally continues the hostility," she said.
"If they do not want to be revealed, let them not steal people's property, and possible terror does not scare me or make me give up my position. I will not be silent and I will not leave the country. I will continue my work at any cost," emphasizes Khadija Ismail in her statement. -05D-
