The Head of OSCE Baku Office in Baku, Koray Torgai , is to visit Ganja on May 15-16, according to his office.
According to the same source, during a two-day visit Torgai will met with the chief executive, Elmar Veliyev and police chief, Faik Shabanov. The main issue of discussion will be cooperation with the OSCE.
Torgay will also visit the Legal Resource Centre, which operates with the support of the OSCE, and will meet with its staff. -16D04-

On the evening of February 5, it was reported that journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi had been arrested. She had been a presenter on the Toplum TV channel for several years. After a criminal case was initiated against the channel in March 2024 and nearly all of its staff were arrested, Beylargizi was questioned multiple times.
