Photos of the activists in jail are spread intentionally
"The distribution of the photographs of three young opposition activists have in the social networks has been intentionally, in order to make a psychological pressure on the rest of the youth. It is unethical and unacceptable," said MP Iqbal Aghazadeh at today's meeting of Milli Majlis.
He said the photos were taken by law enforcement authorities, and then spread over the Internet, because no other people have access to the detention center.
However , speaker Oktay Asadov said that they should deal with facts, and not make unsubstantiated allegations.
This dialogue took place around the spread of the photos of the youth activists detained for 10 days: Chairman of the Youth Committee of the Popular Front Party, Abulfaz Gurbanly, a board member of the NIDA Movement, Turgut Gambar, and the activist, Ilkin Rustamzade.
For unknown reasons, these photos appeared on a website which call itself defending human rights, and then on many pro-government resources. Observers believe that these facts demonstrate once again that the authorities deliberately and flagrantly violate the rights and freedoms of citizens, and some of the "human rights activists" are involved in this dirty game. -17D—
