The US State Department has launched a campaign to release 20 women in detention around the world. These include, in particular, the Ukrainian aviatrix Savchenko Nadezhda, a human rights activist Leyla Yunus from Azerbaijan, her compatriot journalist Khadija Ismailova, and others.
The list of female prisoners was released on his Twitter by the US permanent representative to the United Nations, Samantha Power.
According to Power, the list includes other "political prisoners and other women."
"We have not forgotten about you, we will continue to put pressure on your government to ensure that you have been released," said Power. -02D-
