Baku/17.02.14/Turan : Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mamedguliyev is holding bilateral and multilateral negotiations on Azerbaijan's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva.
As the press service of the Foreign Ministry said, bilateral talks are planned with representatives of the U.S., Canada , Norway, Japan and other countries for goods and services .
In particular, Azerbaijan will consider proposals on these issues.
In addition, multilateral negotiations are planned on domestic support to agriculture and trade system.
Recently Ilham Aliyev reiterated that Azerbaijan is in no hurry to WTO accession, saying it cares about protecting the domestic market and supporting local producers. -06D-

President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
