Mammadyarov commenta on the results of the meeting in Bern

Azerbaijan is  ready to discuss the  Karabakh conflict settlement based on the proposals  on the negotiations, said the  Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov at  a meeting of the two presidents in Bern in an interview  with "Azertaj". He also admitted that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov  presented proposals to Azerbaijan and Armenia to resolve the Karabakh conflict. Without specifying  what Lavrov  proposed, Mammadyarov said that the proposals contain the agreements reached in 2014 at the meeting of presidents in Sochi, New Port and Paris.  The talk is about the updated Madrid principles. Further, he accused Armenia of evading the main issues and focusing on minor points, such as the investigation of incidents at contact line.

At a meeting in Bern he  called for the release of Dilgama  Askerov and Shahbaz Guliyev convicted  in Karabakh , recalling that recently Azerbaijan as a sign of goodwill passed Armenia  the Armenian family," said Mammadyarov. Further, the Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed  readiness to work with the Baku OSCE Minsk Group that the Azerbaijani authorities are constantly criticizing for inaction and lack of objectivity.
