Meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers with participation of OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs took place
Baku/11.11.21/Turan: Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia met in Paris on November 10 with the participation of co-chairs of OSCE Minsk Group and personal representative of OSCE chairman-in-office.
The press service of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported that the meeting discussed the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan "with due regard for the new realities in the region. Ceyhun Bayramov brought Baku's position on the issue to the attention of the opposite side.
Before the meeting with the co-chairmen, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Drian met separately with the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia. Then a meeting between the three Ministers took place following which Drian expressed France's aspiration to support the intensification of the dialogue between the countries in order to establish a lasting peace in the South Caucasus.
Also, the French Minister expressed his country's readiness to assist Azerbaijan in the demining process. He stressed the importance for France to search for persons missing during the First Karabakh War, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said. -02D-

Adalyat Verdiyev, the head of the civil defense staff at the public legal entity Center for Public Health and Reform under the Ministry of Health, and a military expert, has been arrested. On November 22, during a media tour to the liberated territories, Verdiyev filmed and published information and images on his social media accounts revealing Azerbaijani Armed Forces' combat positions in the heights, deployment sites, coordinates, and operational conditions of the border troops. This disclosure caused significant damage to the interests of state security and defense capability. This was stated in a report from the General Prosecutor’s Office.

On Monday, the Baku Appeals Court considered the appeal of Talysh researcher Iqbal Abilov against the extension of his detention for another four months. The defense argued that the decision to extend Abilov's detention was unjustified, lawyer Fariz Namazly told reporters.
