Meeting of Head of General Staff of Russian Federation with Commander of NATO Joint Armed Forces in Baku
Baku / 07/10/19 / Turan: A meeting of General of the Army Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, with Supreme Allied Commander General Todd Walters was held in Baku on July 10.
The parties discussed possible measures to prevent incidents on the RF-NATO contact line, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
"The military leaders exchanged views on the situation in the field of European and global security, possible measures to prevent incidents on the Russia-NATO contact line, counterterrorism issues, and the situation in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the Syrian Arab Republic," the report said.-06D--
