Baku/21.08.19/Turan: On August 21, a farewell ceremony with the pilot of the Azerbaijani Air Force fighter Rashad Atakishiyev was held at the Training and Education Center of the Ministry of Defense.
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Defense, the head of the Ministry of Emergencies, the head of the State Security Service, the presidential aide for security, the commander of the Air Force and others. The pilot was interred in the Second Honorary Burial Alley.
The black box of the MiG-29 aircraft of the Azerbaijani Air Force that crashed on July 24 will be investigated in Azerbaijan, the father-in-law of the deceased pilot, former state adviser of the country, Gabil Huseynli, told Turan.
According to him, a laboratory has been created in Azerbaijan for such studies. Huseynli noted that the face of the recorder is damaged.
The plane fell 9 km. from the coast near the village of Zarat (65 km. north of Baku).
Debris and a dead pilot were found at a depth of 27 meters.
According to Huseynli, the pilot Rashad Atakishiyev did not catapult. The study of the "black box" should establish the cause of the disaster.-B06-
