Migration will Save the Aging Europe

The  World Health Organization (WHO) reports on the rapid aging of the European population. Experts note that the migration  can save  the  demographic situation. The number of migrants is now  73 million - almost 8% of the total population in the region.

 
This is stated in a new report on the health situation in Europe, which considers the situation in 53 European countries with a total population of 900 million people. Among them, 15% of people are  over 65 years old. By 2050, the older people in the region will be more than 25% of the total population.
 
The report notes that in Europe is a home to about 73 million workers. 52% of them women. Migrants are usually younger, but hey are less financed, and more likely  subjected to disease. They have a lower level of access to health services than the population in the region.
 
Experts stress that, to meet the needs of an aging population in the region,  a strong public policy and developed a system of medical and social services is required. -02D-
