Monument to Nizami to Be Erected in Rome
Baku / 08.07.19 / Turan: On Monday, President Ilham Aliyev received the Minister of Tourism, Forestry and Agriculture of Italy, Gian-Marco Gentienio.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of expanding bilateral relations in various fields and enhancing mutual visits.
The Italian Minister noted that the intensification of bilateral relations took place after last year"s visit of the Italian President to Azerbaijan and continues to gain momentum.
The parties also touched upon specific ideas for the implementation of joint projects in the field of tourism and culture. In particular, the issue of installing a monument to the 12th century Azerbaijani prominent thinker Nizami in Rome and Azerbaijan"s supporting excavations in the capital of Italy was considered. -02D-
