MP candidate for violations in the 45 Absheron constituency
Baku / 07.02.20 / Turan: Emin Aliyev, a candidate for deputy in the 45 Absheron constituency, sent an appeal to President Ilham Aliyev and the Central Election Commission in connection with violations of the electoral process.
The appeal says: “On February 9, in the 45 Absheron constituency on the eve of the elections to the Milli Majlis, negative cases were noted aimed at falsifying the elections. Unfortunately, school directors and police officers are involved in this. Teachers collect copies of ID cards and addresses of parents of their students as directed by school principals. Persons who live in the Absheron region, but are registered in other regions of the country, are temporarily registered at police stations in order to attract them to vote on election day. Voting summons are even awarded to individuals who do not have a local registration. These actions are a gross violation of the Electoral law and cause serious damage to the process of holding fair and fair elections, the image of the state.”
In connection with this situation, Emin Aliyev asked the head of state to intervene in order to stop illegal actions in the 45 Absheron constituency.
In this district, former parliamentary speaker Ogtay Asadov is also nominated. Other candidates did not comment on the appeal of E. Aliyev. - 0—
